Friday night’s PHeaSt event in Philadelphia was everything!

Friday night, the Philadelphia Navy Yard played host to the biggest (read: best!) culinary event of the season, PHeaSt. (No, seriously, it’s gonna’ be a tough event to beat.) Food and friends? What more can you want?

PHeaSt is an annual celebration that benefits the Philadelphia Horticultural Society’s City Harvest Program — which feeds more than 1,200 Philadelphia families each week during the growing season. (Think about it, that’s a lot of people.)

I was amazed by the turn out—the event was completely sold out, and seriously, only the best venues were there. Bank & BurbonBrulé Catering—who had the best macaroons I’ve ever had (and the nicest team there), Bryn & Danes—which is a venue I’m very familiar with (obsessed!), and so many other amazing venues served up their best tastings—ever!

In addition to stuffing my face with some of the tastiest… tastings, ever, I fell in love. With a drink. Served by Charlie was a sinner. (Yes, that’s the name of the restaurant. They’re amazing.) Sadly, I have no idea what was in it—the music was bumpin’ and the list of ingredients were… unbelievable. But, it was seriously the best drink I’ve ever had… twice.
